Oh My Pyo Ji is a Korean film about a woman who starts to believe that she's being controlled by some type of spiritual entity. To find help for her, she turns to shamanism. The movie was filmed in 3D and features an unusual soundtrack composed entirely of electronic dance music. A horror/thriller, this movie is unlike any other. Jang Jin Sung (Jeong Hyeon-seong) is an aspiring filmmaker who has just turned twenty-five. One day, while filming on location, he sees a beautiful young girl at the beach. He follows her to her home and realizes that she's the daughter of his idol (a famous filmmaker also named Jang Jin Sung).Jang Jin Sung meets with his idol and shows him some of his work. He asks for help in producing his first feature film. His idol tells him to go to Gwangju, where his mother had died three years ago in a car accident, and collect some data for the movie he wants to make there. When Jang Jin Sung gets to Gwangju, he meets a woman named Park Eun Sil (Kim Ok Bin). She's a doctor who believes that her husband's death was not an accident. She believes that there is a spirit that can control people and that it may have been responsible for her husband's death.The story shifts back and forth between Jang Jin Sung collecting data in Gwangju and Park Eun Sil collecting data through shamanism in Seoul. The two of them start to think they might have a common enemy.

"Oh My Pyo Ji" was released in Korea on April 3, 2010. The film was released as a 3D digital download on April 4, 2010. The DVD was released domestically on December 21, 2010.In Korea, the film grossed from 1,436 screens and from 1,419 screens for a total of $3,705,336 in its opening week.It placed at #8 in the Korean box office and at #20 in the overseas box office for 2010. It ended up with a total gross of $5,679,461. Oh My Pyo Ji was released in the United States at theaters on December 30, 2010.Oh My Pyo Ji received mixed reviews from critics. It has an average rating of 49% on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 4.4/10 based on 38 reviews. The site's consensus states: "Packed with large amounts of computerized imagery and a superficial story, Oh My Pyo Ji is little more than a mediocre effort.
